💪 THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THE FILM: Born in Possum Trot, Alabama, Lilly Ledbetter worked for nearly two decades at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company before discovering that her male colleagues in the same position were making $600 more per
paycheck. Her courageous fight against pay discrimination went all the way to the Supreme Court and ultimately resulted in the 2009 Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act signed by President Barack Obama. Read more about Lilly’s story in this week’s Movement Blog here.
