No, No, It’s About How Women In Power Treat Each Other
It’s not about who is wearing what, or the state of media or the future of retail. It is about gender and power, and the different ways to use and misuse it.
Raking in $233 million internationally in its first opening weekend, "The Devil Wears Prada 2" is the No.1 movie internationally. It is by women, for women, starring women and diving into how women treat each other on their career rises and falls with men mostly making the final decisions on careers.
All of this at a time that is treacherous for the current economy as AI reshapes how every job is performed.
And the women are watching.

Power Up: Audacity, Leadership in Action 2026 |
Concert & Conference, August 25-26
You Need to Be in This Room.
Here's the thing about Power Up. The women who leave with a new hire, a new investor, or a new co-conspirator who happens to be running the kind of company they want to run next? They came ready.
We want you to be one of those women. Here's what's waiting for you:
- Margaret Atwood opens the day. Her words have never felt more urgent
- Real talk on the issues that matter: caregiving, healthcare disparities, wealth building, AI, activism, and the socially learned ambivalence about power.
- Minda Harts (author of The Memo and Talk to Me Nice) on making the workplace work for everyone.
- Kathleen Turner as the goddess voice.
- Dave Smith and Brad Johnson presenting the 2026 Leading Man Award
- The room itself: executives, founders, policymakers, funders, students on the rise, women pivoting careers, and women who know exactly where they're headed.
- BETTY. Rock out as we close the day
- The Full Experience upgrade ($1,250): Femme Art Fair, Reception, Concert, and Dinner with your favorite mom friends.
Audacity isn't a theme. It's a mandate.
Power Up Concert & Conference | Audacity: Leadership in Action August 25–26, 2026 | Washington, D.C. | Women's Equality Day Keynote: Margaret Atwood. Speakers, Panels, BETTY Concert, Femme Art Fair, Reception & Dinner.

Women Working With Women Yields Best Results
A breakthrough new study from Wharton finds women-only remote learning environments yield best possible results. "First, women in same-gender groups opened up about their shared identities as mothers, daughters, wives, and caregivers. Second, women in same-gender groups used more affective expression, meaning they chose language that conveyed excitement, affection, and a sense of community. Third, women in same-gender groups offered each other advice and exchanged resources, rather than being guarded or competitive."
