All You Need: 7 Key Reasons To Attend Take The Lead’s Power Up
Concert & Conference

Celebrating this year’s Women’s Equality Day and 10 years of Take The Lead’s successes are reasons enough to attend the 4th annual Power Up Concert & Conference. But what you take away in knowledge, strategies, mentorship, networking, friendships, collaborators, inspiration and specific tools for your leadership path are priceless.

“Together We Lead” is spearheaded by Take The Lead Co-founder and President Gloria Feldt. The event includes the evening concert August 25 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts* in Washington, D.C., and the full-day conference August 26 at the National Housing Center. Icon Lynda Carter will receive the Leading Woman Award, along with other key awards, panels and workshops.
*This performance is an external rental presented in coordination with the Kennedy Center Campus Rentals Office and is not produced by the Kennedy Center.

Power to Change Stories
The Power To Change No's Into an Internationally Renowned Brand
By Hanna Pujato

My journey began in 2013 when I moved to the UK and enrolled in a beauty therapist course to improve my English. There, I discovered my passion for eyelash extensions, especially the new Russian Volume technique.
However, my path wasn’t easy. When I decided to become a lash educator, all the major schools rejected me. Instead of giving up, I took a small loan, got a teaching qualification, wrote my training manual, and started ordering products for students’ kits directly from factories.
